Brake Controller and 7-Way Recommendation for 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

good afternoon, i currently have a class II hitch and want to replace to a class III. I also need to install the brake module and add the 7pin electrical connection. can you recommend the parts that i need? Thanks,

We can help with the wiring and brake controller but there are no aftermarket hitches that fit your 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. To convert your 4-way to a 7-way you'd want the # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to install a brake controller and convert to a 7-way.

Then for a brake controller the Tekonsha Brake EVN part # TK63VR would be what you'd want. This is a great controller that is proportionally activated with your vehicle brake intensity, is easy to use, and also priced great.
