For your application I recommend going with the Atwood Air Command complete AC system which comes with the AC unit, wall mount thermostat, remote control, and air distribution cover.

This is available as a 15,500 Btu Kit # AT15027-22 as well as a 15,000 Btu Kit # AT15028-22.

This is the only AC unit we have that comes with a remote. Attached is a review video for you to check out.
