7-Way Molded Trailer Wiring For Trailer End To Match Up With 7 Blade Adapter On Vehicle

Question:

Is the blade width on 7 way receptacle different on different receptacles? I have a 4 way to 7 way and 4 way receptacle and the blades don’t fit into the connector that is on my boat. The blades on receptacle are to wide.

Some harnesses are different and will not match up correctly with the adapter on your vehicle. I would recommend cutting off the head of the 7 way plug on your trailer and installing The 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20042.

This harness is a trailer end connector with a 3 foot lead. I attached a wiring diagram below of which wire goes where and the function of each wiring.
