Question:
do they still make such a slipper spring ?

Expert Reply:
We do not have a direct 27 inch slipper spring but depending on how old your springs are they could have flattened out a bit. The 4-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Open Eye End for 4,300-pound Trailer Axles # e24SR has a spring capacity of 2,150 pounds and has an axle capacity of 4,300 pounds.
The length of the spring is 27 inches and has a spring with of 1-3/4 inches. It has 4 leaves.
If you could let me know the weight capacity of your axle I will be able to see if this will work for you.
