Recommended Weight Distribution For a Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 20BHS

Question:

Saw the response regarding two choices of WDS based on carrying water. I suppose my thoughts are there could be situations with or without water and others with grey/black water prior to dumping. At 495lbs dry, is it better to go up one level or carry two systems? Would a 2016 Colorado 4x4 LT 5foot be damaged using the 600-1k? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:

With the Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 20BHS having a dry tongue weight of 495lbs I recommend going with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-1061. The dry tongue weight does not account for the 40lbs of propane added to the tanks or the 50lbs for the Battery # BRW34FR. And with the majority of the storage being at the front of the camper it is going to be best to have the 600-1,000lb system for your Rockwood. You will likely be surprised how quickly the tongue weight increases when you add your wheel chocks, jack pads, water hose, sewer hose and all the other accessories you are going to need for camping.
