Should The Breaker In The Roadmaster Charge Line Kit Show Voltage When The MH Is Off?
Question:
Hello, I just installed the charge line kit. When I check the voltage at the breaker I get 12.4 bolts on both the copper and silver terminals. The Motorhome is not plugged to the car and the wire to the battery is attached to the silver terminal. Should there be power at the copper coloured terminal? Or is the breaker defective?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 is connected directly to your battery it should read 12 volts to either side even when the vehicle is off.
You have nothing to worry about, and this is completely normal. This also is not enough voltage to drain your battery either.
Attached is a review video for you to check out as well.
