Is The Replacement Vent For Atwood Air Command AC Systems Compatible With Ducted Roof Top Units
Question:
Are you absolutely positive that the Atwood 15021 non ducted lower cover will work with this top unit ?? This is a lot of money to spend only to find out at installation the units are incomparable !! Thanks for your time

The distribution box (pictured below) has 4 bolt holes, which are a very generic fit for 14"x14" openings, that will allow you to pass through the mounting bolts and secure the rooftop unit of your Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15033-22 to the Replacement Vent w/ Thermostat and Remote # AT15021.
The plenum, which is the white plastic part that you can see inside of your camper, is most likely not going to match the mounting holes on your current distribution box so you will need to remove the old one and replace it with the new one for everything to fit correctly.
I do want to note that this plenum has no closable shutters so if you have a ducted system it will not properly displace air through the ducts and will instead blow through the main shutters on the plenum.
