Will the heat shield fit with a 5” exhaust and not burn the air bag?

Expert Reply:
According to Firestone, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2250 will still fit with your 5" exhaust. As long as you position the heat shield properly there will be no damage to the air bags. In addition to the air helper springs I recommend getting a compressor like the # F2219. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure wherever you go. It is a dual path system so the air bags can be adjusted together or individually.
