Height of the Timbren Rubber Spring in the Timbren Suspension System # TGMRSB4
Question:
My suburban is a 94 and I am going to be pulling a small trailer with it. My concern is that being so old my springs may have a certain amount of sag already from age which may crowd the springs space. Could you let me know the height of the springs in my kit so I can make sure I will have the 1 inch space once I instal .. thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Timbren and she informed me that the height of the rubber spring is 4-3/4 inches plus the thickness of the plate which is 1/4 of an inch.
You should note that suspension enhancements are designed to work on vehicles with functioning suspension, if your suspension is worn out I would not recommend you use this system on your vehicle.
