Parts Needed To Tow A 2016 Ford Edge A 2016 Ford Edge FWD Behind A Motorhome
Question:
What is the base plate, tow bar you recommend to tow a 2016 Ford Edge V6 FWD. I plan to use Blue Ox Patriot 3 for the braking system unless you recommend otherwise. Also suggest all the cables required, etc. Thank you.

Since you have a FWD 2016 Ford Edge you actually won't be able to tow with all four wheels down and will need to use a tow dolly to prevent any damage to your transmission.
I recommend using the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes # DM9713093 as it comes with everything you'll need to tow in one package. The front wheels of your Edge will go up on the dolly and can be secured in place with the included tie-downs. Since this dolly has hydraulic brakes you won't need to use or install an electric brake controller either.
