Maximum Wire Gauge/Size That Fits Pollak Heavy-Duty 4-Pole Round Pin Trailer Connector # PK11409

What is the maximum wire size that can be connected to this connector. Will it accept a AWG 8, or is AWG 10 the max. What size, in mm, is the wire receptacle. Thanks

The Pollak Heavy-Duty 4-Pole Round Pin Trailer Connector # PK11409 will accept wire up to 12-gauge according to my technical contact at Pollak. This connector is rated for up to 24 volts at 20 amps current.
I did pull a piece from inventory to measure the size of the receptacles for the wires. I used a precision digital caliper to measure the size of the holes. These measured 2.8mm in diameter.
