Recommended Trailer for a 14-1/2' Perception Cove Kayak
Question:
I have a 14.5 foot tandem kayak. Can this trailer safely transport this kayak? The boat is a Perception Cove 14.5 model. Thanks!

I have a solution and a great trailer for you but the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer item # MAL43FR has a 14' limit on kayak length. The trailer you referenced will not work with your Perception Cove 14-1/2' model. Instead you will want the Malone MicroSport Trailer with J-Style Carriers for 2 Kayaks item # MPG461G2.
This trailer has a maximum boat weight capacity of 75 lbs per boat, which will be perfect for your 73 lbs Perception Cove 14-1/2' kayak. This trailer can accommodate up to 20' long kayaks. It has two J-style carriers with soft padding to secure your kayak while traveling.
I have linked a review video below.
