Recommended 5th Wheel Rated Wheel Mounted Bike Rack
Question:
Why is this not recommended for 5th wheels. Our Keystone Cougar 290RLS has a hitch receiver, so I am thinking it should be OK.

I have a solution for you but the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack item # TH83JV is not rated to be used behind a 5th wheel because of all the bouncing that causes extra stress. It is only strong enough to be used behind standard vehicles and motorhomes. It will fit a standard 2" receiver but you will void your warranty and eventually cause a failure using it behind a 5th wheel.
You will want to use the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # KU84FR. This bike rack has an identical capacity. It is also wheel mounted like the T2 and has a comparable price.
