Replacement Pin Boxes for 2021 Jayco Pinnacle for More Turning Clearance and Cushioning

Question:

I have a 2021 JAYCO Pinnacle with a RPB-72 1621HD pin box that was originally equipped with this unit. Having a previous Holiday Presidential fifthwheel with a Trail Air I never had the need to use the slider option on my Husky. Currently with the above setup I have to consistently watch for sharp turns that may hit the fifthwheel/ truck cab. The distance between the cab and pin box is significantly closer. I am seriously looking to replace the above pin box with TrailAir that believe it or not provides a more pleasant and smooth pull. What TrailAir product model would be the appropriate replacement for my unit? Furthermore, can this installation be a one man job if appropriately jack assisted from the pickup bed.

Since your 2021 Jayco Pinnacle has a 1621HD pin box on it currently the best cushioned pin box replacement we have for it would be the Curt Flex Air part # LC328492 that you referenced. This will give you the smoothest ride quality but won't give you any additional turning clearance so you still would need to be careful around corners.
