The # GY43FR is designed to work with a pin weight capacity range of 1,500-3,500 lbs. If your pin weight is over 3,500 lbs you would need the # GY48FR instead. This is rated for 2,500-4,500 lbs of tongue weight. It is important to make sure you pin weight falls into this range so the shock absorption works properly.
