Recommended Gooseneck Hitch For A 2019 Ford F-250 With Turning Clearance Enhancement Options
Question:
Hi, I have a 2019 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab with a 6 3/4 bed. I have a flat nose gooseneck trailer that I would like to pull. What options do I have to install a hitch is the bed of my truck to pull this horse trailer without having to worry about clearance between the bed and cab of the truck?

For your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6-3/4' bed I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1116. This gooseneck hitch also doubles as an attachment point for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel hitch # BWRVK3500 so you can tow both types of trailers without a costly adapter.
As for the clearance, the only way to really add some additional turning clearance and help prevent the nose of the trailer from contacting the cab of the truck would be to use a 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4085.
To determine if you can make a 90 degree turn you can tape a plumb bob to the front corner of the trailer nose and measure from the plumb bob to the opening on the gooseneck. You can then take this measurement and set your tape measure where the gooseneck attachment point in your truck's bed and turn the tape and see if it makes contact with the cab.
