Lid Direction Recommendation for Installing a Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent
Question:
I want to create some air flow in my horse trailer to cool my horses when travelling. I am thinking that I could install this product on the roof of the trailer backwards to catch the air and force it down onto their backs? Does this sound feasible ? Would the product be strong enough or do you think the hinge would break? Thanks for your help.

The lid of the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2110SP-24 that you referenced is not designed to open towards the front of the trailer. The lid would most likely break due to the wind pressure.
The best option would be to install this vent the correct way and then have it slightly open while traveling to help pull the hot air out of the horse trailer. If you can open side windows or vents on the trailer and then open this vent in the correct way it actually does do a great job moving air around.
