The Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF is the correct lift operator for a number of MaxxAir fan's (4500K - 4900K, 4700N, and 4900N) and is likely the correct lift operator for your MaxxAir fan.
The lid is often times riveted to the mounting bracket, but then the mounting bracket is secured to the fan housing with screws. I suggest opening the lid and accessing the screws securing the lid mounting bracket to the fan housing.
