Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2020 Hyundai Tucson with 7-Way Adapter

Question:

What do I need to add a brake wire and controller to my 7 pin connector on my 2020 Hyundai Tucson? I added a 7 pin adapter to my 4 wire connection to tow a small rv weighing 1200 lbs. I would like to buy a larger rv and will need the brakes hooked up. Any information in the way of etrailer products necessary and installation instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Since you have a 7-way adapter already installed on your 2020 Hyundai Tucson what you'd need to wire it so that a brake controller could install is the Wiring Kit for Brake Controllers part # 5506 which comes with everything needed to wire up a brake controller. Then for a brake controller the Tekonsha Brake EVN part # TK63VR is a really great option that is easy to use, actuates the brakes with same intensity as your vehicle, is reliable, and also isn't super expensive.
