5TH Wheel Rails and Mounting Hardware For a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 For B&W Patriot Hitch
Question:
I purchased a new to me 2011 silverado 2500 which came with fifth wheel rails already installed. The existing rails do not line up with my BandW patriot hitch. If I buy these Reese rails, is it as easy as simply removing the old rails and bolting in the new ones or will I need to install a new frame mounting bracket as well and potentially have to drill new holes?

Without knowing who makes the current rails and mounting brackets on your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 I cannot guarantee fitment. The Reese Kit # RP50066-58, Curt Kit # C16411-204 and B&W Kit # BWRVK2506 may all have slightly different holes to match up their brackets with their respective above bed rails. You may be able to identify your mounting brackets if there are any numbers stamped into the brackets. Otherwise I recommend getting the entire installation kit rather than just trying to change the Rails # RP58058. You will also need to replace the Hardware # RP58504 as the hardware is only to be torqued once.
