If you're wanting to add on an AC unit to your car trailer then I recommend going with a Furrion unit. If you don't want to have to open up the walls to run the wire for the thermostat then you can install the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White # FR52PR. The air distribution box of this system has the controls on it for easy operation.
If you'd prefer to have a wall mounted thermostat, then I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR23PV.
You may need to strengthen the roof to fully support the weight of the rooftop unit and will also need to either be hooked up to shore power or a generator to run these units as they do require 115v AC - 30 amp service to properly operate.
