5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for Draw-Tite 5th Wheel Hitch and 2004 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

I have a 2004 quad cab short box dodge 1500 that i need fifth wheel rails for i have a draw tight slider hitch that was provided with the fifth wheel that i am intending to use just wondering what rail kit to order. Also i want to be able to add helper springs or air bags if it should be necessary for leveling so something that will be compatible with that would be ideal.

For your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 short bed and Draw-Tite 5th wheel hitch I recommend semi-custom installation kit # RP30035-023. The L-brackets with this kit are much more compatible with suspension enhancement products when compared to custom brackets that take up more space on the truck frame. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. I have also included a link to the suspension enhancement products that fit your truck when you are ready to add them.

I like the Timbren springs for static loads, like towing the same trailer, and air bags for various types and sizes of loads.
