How do you remove the old one and install this one? Want to know if this is something I could handle before purchasing. Thanks!

The Thule SlideLock Cover # 1401405200 is secured to your Thule Motion Cargo Carrier with M4 x 25 mm screws # TH44TY.
To remove the old SlideLock cover, you'll have to open the cargo carrier up and unscrew the screws from the inside.
