I have a couple options to help you install a brake controller for towing a RV travel trailer with your 2018 Lexus RX 350 as there is not a plug and play type connection on your vehicle.
First the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # TK94FR will not require any wiring under the dash for a brake controller. This will mount to the trailer and uses a wireless controller to control the trailer brakes. By plugging in line of the 7-way it sees the brake signal coming from your tail lights and uses power from the charge line to send to the trailer brakes.
If you prefer to have a control wired in like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR it is preferred to connect directly to the brake switch wiring. I have seen the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000 used to give the brake controller an input wire. This sensor mounts to the brake pedal shaft and detects when the brake pedal is pressed. It will provide you with the same signal that you would get from the brake switch.
