Instead of the infant sling mentioned, can I use my babys car seat instead?

It is not recommended to use your car seat with the Thule Courier Bike Trailer and Stroller # TH69HC in lieu of the Infant Sling Reclining Seat for Thule Chariot Lite or Cross Child Carrier # TH20201504, as the added weight of the car seat, in combination of the plastic framing could damaged the stroller.
