Can The Rightline Gear Car Top Duffel Bag Be Mounted To A Set Of Crossbars On A 2012 Volkswagen Golf

Hi, can this duffle be secured to the bare roof of my 2012 VW 2-dr hatchback Golf by attaching it to the installed and, I think, adjustable G3 Pacific crossbars instead of running the straps through the inside of the car? If so, would the duffle run the width of the car, and not lengthwise as shown? Thanks so much for my advice you may have! Sorry if I missed the answer somewhere.

Yes you can absolutely use your G3 Pacific crossbars on your 2012 Volkswagen Golf to mount the Rightline Gear Car Top Duffel Bag # RL100D90, and you will be able to mount this horizontally like you're wanting to.

This duffel bag was designed to be mounted to vehicles with and without a roof-rack so using your G3 Pacific Crossbars will be no issue.

This bag has a maximum capacity of 4.3 cubic feet, and measures 36" long x 16" wide x 13" tall.
