When Resetting A MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent Do You Need To Cut Power To The Unit Or Another Source?
Question:
We you say disconnect the power to you mean from the outside power source?

When you're troubleshooting your MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-06200K, you're going to either want to cut the power to your fan unit, or you can disconnect the power from the outside source.
Think of it like a hard reset. Say your computer froze for example, and you couldn't use any of the buttons to turn it on or off. Your next move would be to cut the power to the unit, which in turn would power cycle (reset) the notional computer.
The exact same thing would happen to your MaxxFan Deluxe. Power cycling your unit would reset the circuit board, potentially resolving the issue you're having.
