Can Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes Be Used On Travel Trailer

Question:

Why is the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack - 2 not approved for using on the back hitch of a travel trailer? Love the rack and tempted to use it behind my travel trailer but wondering what the concern is. Thanks!

I do have similar bike rack options for you but a lot of racks like the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes part # HR4000 can't be used on a travel trailer as the ride there is much rougher than on a vehicle and they are not designed for this extra stress. If the rack has a pivot point for folding up then there's a good chance it won't be rated for use on a trailer. Instead, I recommend the Swagman Original 4 Bike Rack part # S64400 which can hold up to four bikes and can be used on a travel trailer.

Unfortunately, there are no platform style four bike racks that can be used on the back of a travel trailer.
