Small Boat Trailer Axle Replacement Recommendation
Question:
I have a small boat trailer and id like to upgrade to a larger tire size. currently the axle is around 40 inches long with 4 bolt hubs. Do you have an axle that is similar in length that has a 5 bolt hub? i can send pictures if that would help. thanks!

The shortest axle we carry is the CE Smith Trailer Axle w/ 5-lug Idler Hubs # CE33201GA-HUB which measures 57-1/2" long and has a spring-center measurement of 46-1/2" but if you're willing to switch to a different axle style we have the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w/ 5-lug Hubs # A35RS545 instead.
The advantage of the Timbren kit is that these bolt directly to your trailer frame and operate on independent Aeon springs so you don't have to measure and choose something with a specific distance and the ride performance of your trailer is enhanced since the suspension can operate separately.
Attached is a review and installation video for you to check out if you're interested. If you let me know what your current tire size is I'd be more than happy to make a tire/wheel recommendation as well.
