If you're installing the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket # S5050 and Adapter Ki # SPCH100 on your 2018 Ford F-150 then you also need the 36" Roof Rails # SPR3600. These install onto the roof of your F-150 and then the adapter rails install onto the basket and into the rails.
Without the roof rails you won't be able to install this basket on your F-150.
