Measuring Air Lift 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs For Lift Kit On a 2021 Ram 1500
Question:
Do you measure factory bracket height or the installed airlift bracket distance for the spacers? With a zone 6inch lift on my 2021 ram 1500 I have 1inch gap using the Airlift brackets as a guide... What now? I am using the 5000 Ultimate set.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88375 for your 2021 Ram 1500 have a 6" design height. This means the distance between the Air Lift mounting bracket faces is designed to be 6" without any additional weight in the bed or on the receiver when the truck is sitting on the ground. They do offer 2" # AL52420, 4" # AL52440 and 6" # AL52460 Spacers that you can add to accommodate for a suspension lift. It is preferred to mount the spring slightly stretched versus compressed, so if there is a 1" difference it is better to let the bag be stretched than adding a spacer.
