Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2019 Ram 1500

hey guys I’m buying a new trailer but I need a brake controller, my 2019 Ram 1500 express crew didn’t come with one. I’d like the oem one but they want a crap-ton of money for it. What aftermarket brands are the best?

I recommend going with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR which connects to the OEM plug on your 2019 Ram 1500 by using the Wiring Adapter # 331-TPH-020.

I like the Liberty because it gives you the proportional braking action that is great for highway use but it can be installed virtually anywhere inside the cab of your truck. All that's visible is the small control knob so you aren't taking up leg space in your cab either.
