Recommended Load Range E Tires For 2014 Keystone Raptor 27FS
Question:
I own a 2014 Keystone Raptor 27FS pull behind Raptor that I haul 2 Harley Davidsons motorcycles inside the garage. I am looking to upgrade my tires and my friends are all running E series tires on thier toy haulers. I noticed the 14ply have a heavier load capability, would you recommend that type of tire for this unit?

Expert Reply:
Absolutely; in fact, based on my research the standard tire size on your 2014 Keystone Raptor 27FS are ST235/80R16 load range E tires, and that's also the common load range on many toy haulers, which is likely why you see your friends with that size tire. So I definitely recommend upgrading to that load range, and the best option for that are tires from Provider:
- Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # TTWTRTM2358016E
The # TTWTRTM2358016E has a 3,520 lbs per-tire capacity, and I like these more than any other option for this size due to their max 81 mph speed rating so you can travel at highway speeds, and especially their 11/32" tread depth. This is the is the deepest tread depth for this size tire, so it's going to give you the best possible grip and also have a longer-lasting tread than tires with lesser depth.
