Side Steps for 2018 GMC Canyon Crew Cab to Help Getting in and out

Question:

I have a 2018 GMC Canyon Denali Crew cab it came with factory nerf bars. they fit up close to the body and just under the door. I really do not use them because of the height. I have had and install the nerf bars onto Ford and really liked the height. In not using my boards i have broke the drivers seat down and it is starting to rip at the seam. I would like a set of bars, boards or steps that would help me get in and out of my GMC. any suggestion?

We installed a set of the Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards # 27-6130-2205 on a similar 2021 GMC Canyon Crew Cab and we found that they were nice and wide and at a great height to make getting in and out of the truck much easier. Check out the install picture I attached to see what I mean.
