Recommendation for Channel-Mount Kayak Carrier to Carry 2 Kayaks in Crossbar T-Slots

Question:

I have been looking for a 2 kayak carrier that can be used or converted to use on slotted crossbars. Do u have any recommendations? I have found the Malone single carriers, but I really want one that will carry 2.

For a single carrier option that allows you to transport 2 kayaks with a channel-mount option, the best and only option is the Rhin-Rack Nautic Stack # RRS520. With this route, the # RRS520 comes with t-slot hardware that easily inserts into your crossbar top channels. I went ahead and attached a video that shows 2 kayaks used with this system starting at timestamp 5:55.

If you ever choose to use the included clamps for the clamp-on attachment style instead of the channels, the Nautic Stack fits your crossbars as long as they do not exceed 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall. I recommend measuring the height and width of your bars to make sure they fit within these requirements.

Even though the # RRS520 already comes with straps to secure 2 kayaks, if you ever plan to transport 3 or 4 kayaks with this carrier, you do need additional tie-down straps # RRRBAS-RTD55P-RTD45P for the 3rd and 4th kayak.
