Is an Orifice Connector Adapter Required to Install a Back Up Solenoid  

Question:

hi installing a new dico noscoupler on my four winns trailer w/disc brakes. the old bk/ up solonoid has a adaptor into the master which fits and a fine threadside that the old bk/ up solonid screws into. but the new solonoids do not fine thread the new solonoids have the same thread as as the master cyl does Corse i guess ? the old solonoid says 1/16 orifice . my new solonoids say 1/16th and the othe one says 3/64 orifice both of these fit the master and the brake line with no problem can either of these be connected to the brake line without that adaptor ,the adaptor doeshave a small hole in it or do you have an adaptor that will work. thanks

I am not sure what back up solenoid you have, but a solenoid like the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800 can be installed directly and does not require an adapter.

If you are unsure and can provide me with more information/photos on your solenoid and fittings, I would be happy to look further into this for you.
