The Westin Grille Guard, part # 57-2235, you referenced, will not interfere with the hood operation on your 2011 Toyota Tundra. This grille guard installs on the vehicle frame and gives you enough room for the hood to open normally. This is a custom fit heavy duty grille guard that has rubber lined uprights that protect your truck finish. It also has a punch plate insert that protects your truck grill from damage. I have attached a photo that shows the grille installed, and the clearance needed for your hood operation.
