Parts Needed to Install Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller In 2022 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
Id like to use the ECHO MOBILE TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER, 7-WAY, BLUETOOTH SMARTPHONE CONNECTION #51180. It requires a 7-way connector. Which harness connector do I need? Is the custom wiring harness #56420 sufficient or do I need something different? Im assuming I will use a Curt Hyundai Tucson Hitch #13485.

To install the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller # C51180 on your 2022 Hyundai Tucson you'd need to have an active 7-way installed. To do that you'd first need to have a 4-way installed like with part # CU94FR (if you have one already you can skip this), and then you need the 7-way install kit designed for use with the Echo part # ETBC7L which will convert the 4-way to a 7-way and comes with wiring needed to activate the 12 volt accessory circuit.
