The Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400, will work as long as your Ford C-Max does not have an active power assist braking system. Check the owners manual to determine the type of braking system you have. It is likely that your C-Max does have this type of braking system so what you can use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
The Patriot uses an electric actuator rather than a air pump like the Even Brake. The Patriot is also proportional and can easily be removed like the Even Brake.
