Replacement License Plate Mounting Bracket that is Part of a Trailer Tail Light

Question:

We have a 2004 Terry TT, 250FQ. Recently the license fell off, due to broken brackets on the taillight. Do we need to replace the entire taillight assembly when all we really need is the plastic bracket that the license plate attaches to? Also, the lens says SAE-AILRST 94 DOT Bargman. Cant find those anywhere. Is this #30-92-003 the replacement part?

The mounting bracket or base is not available by itself so you would either need to replace the entire tail light or use a separate license plate mounting bracket such as # LP10SB. Since the light works just going with a separate bracket might be the way to go.

The numbers on a tail light lens rarely help identify the light itself. If the model number of the light is not elsewhere on the housing you will need to go by the dimensions. Bargman Surface Mount Tail Light, # 30-92-003, that you have referenced is 8-9/16 inches long, 4-9/16 inches wide, and 2-1/8 inches thick.
