Can the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter be Welded?

Can you weld on the CAB-C5G if you have no bolt holes and cant drill any?

Yes, you can but the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter item # CAB-C5G was designed to be installed with bolts. The main issue would be is that the adapter wasn't meant to be installed in this way so you would have to remove the powder coat finish to get a clean weld. The Convert-A-Ball is rated for 20K for towing so this may effect capacity as well.
