Recommended Active Suspension Kit For A 2016 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2016 F150 Lariat 4x4, 5.0 and 3.55 gears. We tow a 2020 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22RBE and it weighs around 6200lbs when we camp and 760lbs of tongue weight per the CAT scale. Im using a Husky Centerline WDH. Currently I have the Sumo Spring SSR-117-40 on my truck now. Still have a little squat I want to get rid of. Do you think the RAS HD 3611-YHD or the Sumo Spring SSR-143-40-2 would be the better fit for my set up?

Helpful Expert Reply:

When it comes to installing an active suspension kit on your 2016 Ford F-150 The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-YHD will help better getting rid of the squat on your vehicle.

This system has a 3,000 pound capacity, which actively strengthens the leaf springs for an improved ride quality with or without a load. The kit has a durable, epoxy e-coated steel construction, that has an easy, bolt on installation with no drilling, cutting, or welding required. The kit is maintenance free which makes it better then the Sumo Springs.

The RoadActive Suspension will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity.

I attached an installation video link below.
