The Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover # STC-V211 should never be submerged in fresh or salt water. Luckily the jack can be easily removed from its mounting bracket by pulling the pin and sliding off the assembly. Submerging the jack will allow the lubricants to wash away and could damage the gears.
