Distance Between Clips that Attach to Factory Mirror for K Source Universal Towing Mirror # KS3891
Question:
What is the distance between the outside of the outside clip and the outside of the inside clip? My Sport Trac has an oddly shaped mirror with a 3.5inch flat bottom. I cant tell if the clips will be too wide to fit the housing. Thank you!

I went out to the warehouse and pulled K Source Universal Clip-On Extra Large Towing Mirror # KS3891. From the outside of the far clip to the outside of the near clip is 3 inches. The straps can move a little so the 3 inches is approximate. The 3 inch measurement is fixed though if you are measuring the plastic clips that fit around the mirror housing. I have included a picture showing the measurement for you.
