Solution for Replacement Locking T-Handle Latch on Radar Trailer

Question:

Hello I have a radar trailer but the key was missing so I drilled it out...I am looking for a replacement. It had the round lock with the Q key....around it was an aluminum rectangular plate. I guess when the key was turned you would press the rectangle part and it would pop out....into a T handle...Then you would turn it to open the door....hope my description can help you find what I need. It is from the year 2000...Hopefully they still make them. Let me know if you carry them Thank You

I do have a solution, but unfortunately we do not have anything that matches that latch style. What I can offer is the T-Handle Locking Stainless Steel Flush Door Latch # L4080. This uses a regular key with a flip up T-handle to operate the latch. It will likely require a different hole for mounting as well. This fits a 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" hole.
