Troubleshooting An iRV68 Radio That Is Not Working At All
Question:
I am replacing an original 92 travel trailer radio with an irv68 the black is connected to black which ground and the red to red they are marked bat - and bat+ the orange or yellow i have connected and i have no power to the radio at all the yellow from the irv68 is the one with the in line fuse. i read of other gentleman who has the same problem and blew the fuse when he connected the yellow and red together there is a blue wire but it is marked ant pwr out. what do i need to do get it working? my fuses all look good.

I recommend checking that you are actually getting power to your unit. Even if your fuses are fine, that doesn't necessarily rule out that your wiring is good.
You can use a circuit tester # PTW2992 and test the yellow wire before the fuse to verify there is power getting to it, and then test the wire after the fuse.
If you are not receiving power before the fuse then you need to trace that connection down and look for the break or problem in the wire.
If there is power then there may be a problem with a connector in the unit and would subsequently need replacing.
Additionally, you may need too check the fuse on the of the unit as well, as that one may have blown.
