I have a 2022 Ford 150 with the retrax xr cover. I need to carry 2 Hobie outback kayaks weighing 75 lbs each. no off road just highway. I want to be able to the racks when not in use. Would you recommend this rack truxedo elevate or the Yakama overhaul? the yakima is substantially more money. Thanks,

While I personally prefer Yakima's products over many others for their looks, functionality, and customer support there is nothing wrong with going with TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX96NV.

If your RetraxONE XR doesn't have T-slots then you will need to use the rails. If you end up needing to use the rails you will need to ensure there's enough room to mount them into the stake pockets of your 2022 Ford F-150's bedrails.

The towers of this system can raise or lower from 18" to 28" so you'll want to ensure that you'll have enough height for the kayaks to clear the roof of the cab.

We also off a Tie-Down Kit # TH52FR to give you easier mounting options for your kayaks and anything else you might need to haul.
