Can Thule Elite XT Rack For 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 Carry Bikes With 4 Inch Tires

Does this bike rack allow for 4 inch tires from 2 electric bikes? TH302043

It cannot; the maximum tire width is 3 inches for the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302043, so you'd need a hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack for tires that large. First, you'll need a trailer hitch receiver if you don't have one, with the correct fit for your 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 - so long as you have the standard bumper and NOT the step bumper - being the following part from Draw-Tite:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75549
The # 75549 is a 2" hitch so you'll need a bike rack that fits it which can accommodate your 4 inch wide tires as well as bikes that weigh 40 or so lbs (I am assuming this because the max weight for bikes of the Elite Van XT rack is 42 lbs).
So you can use that hitch with any of the following bike racks, each of which have the 40 lb+ per-bike capacity and can accommodate tires at least 4" wide - Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR, RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002, Saris SuperClamp EX # SA4025F.
