Does the King Pin Skid Plate on a 5th Airborne Pin Box Pivot
Question:
2007 chev. classic 2500hd 6.5ft bed, I now have a trail air rotoflex box, my question is, does the king pin box bottom plate flex like the one I now have?

The skid plate on the 5th Airborne pin box # 5AB-E1621-610 is pretty much stationary but the part of the pin box that it is mounted to moves with the shock and air bag that are inside of the pin box. It works the same way it is just internal on the 5th Airborne instead of internal like the Rotaflex. I have included a link to our FAQ article that will tell you all about the 5th Airborne pin boxes.
