Replacement Slipper Spring for 1973 Tennessee Boat Trailer

Question:

Good morning, I have a 1973 Tennessee boat trailer. I need 2 slipper springs. May be able to get buy with one. I have searched for the correct size and tried to make do with a longer one but no luck. The spring I need is 18 1/2 inches from the center of eye to where the spring hits the trailer. 22 1/2 inches to the end of the spring. 1 3/4 wide They are very light. 2 thin leafs. The loaded trailer weight at the axle is just below 600 lbs. If you could find the same type or something that will work I would appreciate it. Thank you,

The closest option we have is the 1,000 axle slipper spring part # SP-178275 which is a couple inches longer than what you need as it measures 24-5/8 inches overall and 22-3/4 inches from center of bolt hole to where it attaches to suspension hanger.

So the best solution I can make is to move back your rear hanger or go with a new hanger kit part # APS3SE set at the correct dimensions and you'd be set.
